Learn to design attractive, organized and efficient websites that improve user experience and maintain a professional look. ABM College’s online Web Design and Development diploma program gives you a strong introduction to web design and development, covering such topics as web design, web publishing, web programming and database management. Upon graduation, you will be able to pursue employment in a wide range of industries and sectors, including publishing, advertising, public relations, web design – or even freelance from home!

Throughout the program, you will gain a strong knowledge of web layouts, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML and how to apply them in the creation of responsive websites. You will also learn about web scripting with PHP, to add JavaScript code on websites, apply fundamental security principles and create websites using both WordPress and Bootstrap. Hands-on training in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator allows you to create and edit visual elements within a website, create detailed mock-ups and prototypes, optimize graphics, design the layout and structure of web pages, design wireframes and much more.
